Hallam Freight was formed in 1983, originally offering a local delivery service to local companies.

Since that time Hallam Freight has built up a wide-ranging and diverse customer base, comprising of local, national, and international companies, from all sectors of industry and commerce. Many of our newer customers have been gained by referral from existing customers; we believe this speaks volumes about the levels of service that Hallam Freight provides.

As Hallam Freight has grown, so the range of services we provide has expanded, to meet the demands of our customers. From local deliveries, we progressed to deliveries throughout the U.K. This was followed by the development of services into Europe, and beyond.

Such was the success of our international operations; it was decided to form a separate company, ASAP INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT, to deal purely with international transport.

The strategic location of our site, one mile from J34 M1, coupled with the excellent facilities now at our disposal, has enabled us to successfully offer our services to a number of major international transport companies. These companies make extensive use of our services for deliveries and collections throughout the UK, and for consolidating freight for loading to their export trailers.

It is our aim to provide our customers with a competitive service for any transport requirement that they may have, from a single pallet, through to a full load, irrespective of destination, Barnsley, Bristol, Berlin or Bejing, Hallam Freight can deliver.
